Digitale Zorgtechnologie in het Onderwijs – Gewoon Doen!

De pilotstudie "Digitale Zorgtechnologie in het Onderwijs – Gewoon Doen!" onderzoekt hoe docenten in het hbo effectief kunnen worden ondersteund bij het kiezen en inzetten van digitale zorgtechnologie binnen hun onderwijs. De noodzaak hiervoor groeit door de toenemende technologische innovaties in de zorg en de veranderende beroepspraktijk waarin zorgprofessionals technologie moeten kunnen beoordelen en doelgericht toepassen. Hoewel digitale zorgtechnologie een vanzelfsprekend onderdeel van het curriculum zou moeten zijn, ervaren docenten regelmatig belemmeringen bij de implementatie ervan.

In dit project worden docenten uit meerdere academies binnen het domein Gezondheidszorg en Welzijn van Zuyd Hogeschool begeleid bij het selecteren van een relevante zorgtechnologie en het ontwikkelen van technologierijk onderwijs dat aansluit bij authentieke beroepssituaties. Door het onderwijs uit te voeren en te evalueren met docenten en studenten, ontstaat inzicht in hun ervaringen, behoeften en de leeropbrengsten voor studenten. Het project resulteert in een best practice en concrete richtlijnen voor de duurzame en haalbare integratie van zorgtechnologie in het hbo-onderwijs.

The pilot study "Implementing Digital Healthcare Technology into Education – Just Do It!" investigates how lecturers in higher professional education can be effectively supported in selecting and implementing digital healthcare technology within their teaching. This need is growing due to increasing technological innovations in healthcare and the changing professional practice in which healthcare professionals must be able to assess and apply technology effectively. Although digital healthcare technology should be an inherent part of the curriculum, lecturers regularly encounter obstacles in its implementation.

In this pilot study, lecturers from multiple academies within the Healthcare and Welfare domain of Zuyd University of Applied Sciences are guided in selecting relevant healthcare technology and developing technology-rich education that aligns with authentic professional practice. By executing and evaluating the education with lecturers and students, insight is gained into their experiences, needs, and the learning outcomes for students. The project will result in a best practice and concrete guidelines for the sustainable and feasible integration of healthcare technology in higher professional education.
