资源简介:

This dataset and associated visualizations present a real-time genomic surveillance analysis of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron sublineage LP.8.1.1 across six countries (USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Iceland, and Bahrain) during 2025. Using bias-corrected weekly prevalence estimates from over 9.4 million global sequences, we demonstrate the rapid rise of LP.8.1.1. A JN.1-derived recombinant carrying key RBD mutations (e.g., K498R, Y505H) that significantly reduce neutralization by the monoclonal antibody Pemivibart (VYD2311). Structural and neutralization data (Invivyd, ECCMID 2025) show an 11-fold increase in IC₅₀ (0.0189 µg/mL) against LP.8.1.1 compared to BA.2, signaling emerging therapeutic vulnerability. Files included: Country-stratified Omicron metadata (2021 - 2025) with top-lineage annotations Weekly prevalence time series for LP.8.1.1 Policy-ready visualization linking viral evolution to mAb escape This work highlights the urgent need for anticipatory monoclonal antibody design and continuous genomic monitoring to sustain clinical utility of antiviral therapeutics in the face of accelerating immune escape.
