Topographic Maps for the Territory of Ukraine at 1 km Resolution – Elevation (m) and Slope (degree)

This dataset provides topographic raster maps of elevation and slope for the territory of Ukraine, developed to support spatial analysis of solar photovoltaic (PV) suitability and broader terrain-based assessments. The source data is the SRTM 90m Digital Elevation Model (DEM) from the CGIAR-CSI archive. The elevation values were resampled and processed as follows: Elevation: aggregated to 100 m resolution using bilinear interpolation, Slope: calculated from the original SRTM DEM and similarly resampled to 100 m resolution. Both rasters were reprojected to EPSG:32636 (WGS 84 / UTM zone 36N) to ensure consistency with other geospatial layers used in the U_CAN project.
