Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Merchant Fields, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, October 2019

This collection comprises images, vector drawings and site records from an archaeological evaluation at Merchant Fields in Cleckheaton undertaken by Headland Archaeology Ltd in October 2029. Of the sixty trenches excavated several contained undated features such as small ditches and furrows, which are of likely post-medieval date. The remains and possible associated structures of a late 19th century colliery were present in the eastern part of the site.
