This project performed high-throughput, whole-genome sequencing and assembly of a clinical ST11-KL64 carbapenem-resistant hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae isolate co-harboring blaKPC-2 and blaNDM-13. The strain was recovered from a urine specimen of an ICU patient at West China Fourth Hospital between January and December 2024. Raw sequencing reads were generated on both the Illumina NovaSeq and Oxford Nanopore PromethION platforms, and genome assembly and annotation were carried out using Flye and Unicycler. Our analysis focused on the structure of the hybrid virulence-resistance plasmid. This dataset will facilitate elucidation of the evolutionary integration and assembly mechanisms of virulence-resistance hybrid plasmids in CR-hvKP and will serve as a genomic resource for clinical epidemiological surveillance and the development of novel antimicrobial strategies.
