Experimental dataset on the use of service plants to manage sugarcane weed infestation in Réunion Island (2013-2014) - ECOCANNE project

The ECOCANNE project concerns the development of technical itineraries for the establishment of cover crops providing partial control of weed infestation and a repulsive effect against the borer in sugarcane plots in Réunion. The results of the project contribute to the reduction of herbicide consumption in sugarcane cultivation and to the improvement of the technical and economic performance of the crop. This is an experimental dataset from an irrigated trial on sugarcane in association with service plants, established in 2013 at a grower's site and harvested in 2014.
