Leading motivations of Chinese tourists to visit Japan 2023

According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2023, for nearly 76 percent of Chinese tourists, eating Japanese food as well as shopping were some main motivations to come to Japan. Walking in the shopping districts followed with over 67 percent of respondents.
