Microbial derived biopolymers for harvesting and valorization of microalgal biomass as sustainable feedstock for neutraceuticals and bioactive compounds

Microalgae are regarded as the valuable green cellular factories that can complement the agriculture for the production of valuable chemicals, bioenergy and sustainable polymers (EPS).This project tries to understand the impact of different emerging chemical on the phenotypic states and the production of EPS in microalgae and cyanobacteria and the fate of those chemicals ie( biotransformation) in the process of bioremediation by algae.
