With this study we aim to understand how does the expression in the VNO changes when mice go through pregnancy and the influence internal hormonal changes might have in the transcriptome. The VNO was dissected at 16 weeks of age. RNA was extracted using the Qiagen RNeasy kit using standard protocols and five pregnant and four control biological replicates were multiplexed together and sequenced in three lanes on the Illumina HiSeq platform.
