Whole-genome sequencing reveals High risk clone of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Guangdong, China

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the most common and serious causes of infections , and P. aeruginosa high-risk clones (HiRiCs) are a growing threat in hospitals world-wide. HiRiCs are associated with poor clinical outcomes and contain very complex determinants of resistance. The epidemiology information of HiRiCs in China is limited. Research on the successful spread of these clones in conjunction with multiple drug resistance mechanisms will be helpful for the monitoring and treating of this organism.
