This dataset includes chronological and grain size data from five loess-paleosol sequences in the Hexi Corridor and the western Chinese Loess Plateau, along with dust activity days, cultivated area, precipitation, and sand-driving wind days recorded at five national meteorological stations. Additionally, grain size distributions of samples from the five loess-paleosol sequences are also provided. Overall, this dataset provides a basis for understanding the natural and anthropogenic drivers of Holocene dust activity in inland China.
