Dataset for Leaf Demography of Three Tropical Rhizophoraceae Mangrove Species

Litterfall was collected bi-monthly throughout 2011 using circular litter traps with a 1 mm mesh size and a 0.4 m radius. During each collection, the number of leaves and stipules was recorded. A total of 24 observations were conducted across three species, with simultaneous observations in five plots for each species. The study was conducted at the Dongzhaigang Mangrove National Nature Reserve (DZG), located in the northeastern part of Hainan Island (110.54°E, 19.99°N).
