资源简介:

The Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a critical component of HVAC systems, with the air filtration stage serving as the primary determinant of indoor air quality and overall system performance. Effective filtration is essential for removing particulate matter, microorganisms, and airborne contaminants, and it directly supports ISO 50001 implementation by minimizing pressure drop and reducing fan energy consumption. At Hospital X, the AHU plays a vital role in maintaining controlled air quality, temperature, and humidity. However, between January 2024 and May 2025, the hospital recorded three cases of Healthcare-Acquired Infection Syndrome (HAIS), suspected to be linked to suboptimal air quality. Maintenance records also revealed that approximately 63% of AHU failures originated from three key components: V-belts, motorized valves, and air filters, indicating deficiencies in maintenance practices. This study applies Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), supported by Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Logic Tree Analysis (LTA), to determine optimal maintenance strategies. FMEA results show the highest risk priority number (RPN) for the V-belt (288), followed by the motorized valve (150), filter (96), fuse heater (48), and HMI (9). The resulting strategies—Time Directed, Condition Directed, Run to Failure, and Finding Failure—enable targeted maintenance. The study emphasizes that intelligent air filtration systems significantly enhance AHU reliability, reduce downtime, improve energy performance, and ensure infection-safe environments in healthcare facilities.
