fMRI and DWI experiment consisting of 3 different tasks: Conditioning, AudioVisual and Audio Conditioning: fMRI task where participants were instructed to respond, as quickly and accurately as possible, on which side they heard a voice (left or right, by pressing a keyboard button with their right index or middle finger, respectively), while maintaining their gaze on a permanent fixation cross at the center of the screen. The task consisted of a fear conditioning paradigm with a Pre-Conditioning and a Conditioning phase. During Conditioning, participants were presented with both highAM and lowAM voices, and these were either paired (CS+) or unpaired (CS-) with the unpleasant loud white noise and one IAPS aversive image (US). Stimulus assignment as either CS+ or CS- was based on the source location of each voice and counterbalanced across participants (i.e., 50% were presented with highAM and lowAM CS+ left-sided voices, and with highAM and lowAM CS- right-sided voices). During Pre-Conditioning, the same CS stimuli were presented without the US. The fear conditioning was conducted with a 50% partial reinforcement. Participants available: 4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,31,33,34,35,36 and 37 AudioVisual: fMRI task where participants passively viewed face stimuli at Broad, High and Low Spatial Frequencies, as well as listened to broadband neutral voices, high-rate amplitude modulated voices and low-rate amplitude modulated voices. Participants available: 1 to 37 except participant 32. Audio: fMRI task where participants passively listened to screams, scraping sounds and neutral counterparts. Participants available: 1 tos 37 except participant 32. Task order: Conditioning, AudioVisual and Audio Anatomical, fMRI and DWI data are stored separately in corresponding folders: anat - anatomical data func - fMRI data dwi - DWI data Participants 4,13,22,29 and 34 have 2 runs in the Conditioning task. run1 is always Pre-Conditioning phase and run 2 Conditioning Phase
