Several astrocytoma lineages transcriptomic profile

Glioblastoma is the most aggressive and lethal type of brain tumor. In order to better understand the molecular changes that occur during tumor progression, we performed the RNAseq of several astrocytoma cell lines. The aim of this study is to identify differentially expressed transcripts between low grade glioma and glioblastoma cells.Since the tumor has high resistance to genotoxic agents, we also performed the RNAseq of glioblastoma cells treated with camptothecin to understand the transcriptional changes that occur during the acquisition of resistance.
