Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) raw reads were generated for Candida auris strains derived from in vitro experimental evolution. Single-drug-resistant derivatives were evolved from a pan-susceptible Clade II parental isolate (B11220) under selection with 12 antifungal agents spanning five major classes (azoles, polyenes, echinocandins, allylamines, and pyrimidine analogs). WGS was performed for the resistant derivatives and the parental susceptible strain to enable identification of genetic variants associated with antifungal resistance.
