The goal was to examine and compare the transcriptomic profiles of fully differentiated 15 month old muscle derived from bulls belonging to different breeds and showing different performance. Overall design: Comparison of transcriptomic profiles of mature tissue (15 month old) of semitendinosus muscle from beef breeds Limousin and (LIM) vs. dairy breed Holstein-Friesian (HF) - used as a control. Each comaprison was performed in four bilogical repetitions.
