Comamonas testosteroni KF-1. Comamonas testosteroni KF-1 (DSM 14576) was isolated from activated sludge. This organism is able to degrade 3-(4-sulfophenyl)butyrate, a component of many synthetic surfactants, and may be important for the biodegradation of this compound.
