The SAIL Dataset was created by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Koç University, and it is a dataset dedicated to navigation instruction understanding. This dataset contains 3237 natural language instructions that describe navigation actions in maze environments. The dataset creation process involved two participant groups: six instructors and thirty-six followers, who generated the instructions manually. The SAIL Dataset is primarily used to address the challenges faced by machine learning models in understanding natural language navigation instructions, especially their capability to execute such instructions within maze environments.
