Primary lung fibroblasts were isolated from C57BL/6 mice by enzymatic digestion and confirmed by immunofluorescence staining to be >=95 % pure. Cells were then exposed to 10 ng/mL TGF-beta for 12 hours to generate a fibrotic model. RNA-seq was subsequently used to analyze the transcriptomic response of these fibroblasts to TGF-beta stimulation.
