The metagenome of a spontaneous fermentation process performed in Costa Rica in 2016 was analyzed and served to perform a metagnomic binning to retrieve high-quality metagenome assembled genomes (MAGs). From these, a MAG representing a Hanseniaspora opuntiae genome with enough quality in terms of completion and redundancy was recovered and is reported in this project.
