Dataset on the effect of vancomycin on the gut microbiome in type 1 diabetic mice

Here we treated streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice with vancomycin (Vanc) to disturb the gut microbiota. In order to examine the gut microbial changes, we used a 16S rRNA gene sequencing approach to analyze the gut microbiome in caecum contents of normal control (CON), type 1 diabetic (T1D), and vancomycin-treated type 1 diabetic (T1DV) mice at 3, 7 and 11 weeks.<br> This study is submitted to Microbiome.
