资源简介:
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has the second highest cancer-related death worldwide and limited treatment options. In this study, we evaluated the mutational landscape of Vietnamese HCC patients. This study recruited 61 HCC patients who were eligible for curative-intent surgery. Genomic DNA isolated from primary FFPE and paired WBC were subjected to a targeted sequencing panel of 95 cancer-related genes to identify tumor-derived somatic mutations. We found 348 mutations in HCC tissues from all individuals, with average 4 mutations per patient. The most frequently mutated genes in our cohort were TP53 (42.6%), TERT (39.3%), AXIN1 (23.0%) and CTNNB1 (23.0%). This study also provided a comprehensive somatic mutation dataset for Vietnamese HCC patients. Understanding the specific mutational patterns of individual HCCs has the potential to enhance diagnosis and treatment approaches.
