资源简介:
This data set is related to the study of Archean seafloor-derived silicified rocks that were sampled in the Barberton Greenstone Belt, in South Africa. It reports (1) drone images of geological sites where the silicified rock samples were collected, (2) chlorite temperature maps, (3) Raman spectra of carbonaceous materials, (4) Sm-Nd and La-Ce isochrone images, and (5) geochemical (major element, trace element and isotopic) analyses of natural samples and reference materials. These data were collected as part of Steve Kitoga's PhD research and related to the following published paper: Kitoga, S., Moyen, J.-F., Boyet, M., Marin-Carbonne, J., Olivier, N., Garçon, M., & Stevens, G. History and geochemical signatures of hydrothermally silicified lavas and sediments from the Palaeoarchean (3.5-3.2 Ga) Barberton Greenstone Belt. Advances in Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry, 2(1), 773. https://doi.org/10.33063/agc.v2i1.773. The dataset is provided along with a "README" file that provides relevant details on the content of each file contained in the dataset and a summary of methods that were used to acquire the data. A more detailed description of the methods that were used to acquire the data is accessible in Kitoga et al. (2026) (https://doi.org/10.33063/agc.v2i1.773).
