Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Horton Road, Devizes, 2022

This collection comprises text, image, spreadsheet and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at Horton Road, Devizes. The work was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology between March and April 2022. The evaluation consisted of ten trial trenches and six of the ten excavated trial trenches contained archaeological features and deposits, indicating archaeological remains are present across the site. The eight uncovered features consisted of ditches and a gully and all were undated, although iron artefacts in trench 2 suggest a modern date for those features.
