We used RAD-seq to perform population sequencing on 96 C. elegans wild isolates over time during starvation. We identified isolates that differed in starvation resistance, performed GWAS, and identified a region on chromosome III associated with starvation resistance. This region was validated using near-isogenic lines (NILs), and NILs were validated with sequencing.
