Pomacea canaliculata Genome sequencing and assembly. Pomacea canaliculata

Individuals of P. canaliculata was collected from Shanghai city, China. The genomic DNA of P. canaliculata was extracted from foot tissue in a female individual. To generate the ultra-long genomic reads, the 20 kb genomic sequencing libraries were constructed and sequenced in the third-generation sequencing (TGS) PacBio SEQUEL platform. 10g gDNA were also used for Hi-C library construction and sequenced on the Illumina X Ten platform (San Diego, CA, United States) with 150PE mode. The long-reads generated from PacBio SEQUEL platform were assembled with FALCON.
