Effects of reported diseased condition on tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) skin and gill, and pond microbiomes in earthen aquaculture ponds

We employed 16S and 18S high throughput metabarcoding to characterise the microbiome of tilapia skin, gill, and pond water from diseased and non-diseased ponds and investigate for signatures of microbial dysbiosis related to health conditions.
