Fall armyworm (FAW), Spodoptera frugiperda, is a highly polyphagous pest that recently invaded Kenya, among other African countries.In this study, we exlored the FAW strains present in Kenya and correlated pesticide use to gut microbiome diversity to investigate their probable contribution towards insecticide resistance development.
