Engineered Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron whole genome sequencing and assembly

We have developed a biocontainment system that combines thymidine auxotrophy, an Engineered Riboregulator (ER) for controlled gene expression by intended bacteria, and a CRISPR Device (CD) to achieve the reliable containment of engineered strains by degradation of an essential gene transferred from other bacteria and prevention of dissemination of artificial genetic circuits to environmental bacteria.
