to make a detailed examination of a sample of recent engagements<br>
to give a picture of the recruitment methods used and their perceived advantages and disadvantages<br>
to estimate the `share' of the engagement market held by the Employment Service Agency<br>
to provide a measure of the impact on employers of the Jobcentre programme by means of a detailed comparison of Employment Offices and Jobcentres in terms of use and attitudes.<br>
