Detections of Acoustically Tagged Bull Trout in the Kinbasket Reservoir during January 2011

Between 2010-2012, 187 bull trout were acoustically tagged and monitored by an array of 42 receivers deployed in the Kinbasket Reservoir of British Columbia, Canada. The full dataset was previously analyzed in Martins et al. (2013; https://doi.org/10.3354/ab00536) and Gutowsky et al. (2016; https://doi.org/10.1139/cjz-2015-0104); here we archive the data collected only during January 2011. The dataset comprises two files. Kinbasket_Receiver_groups.csv contains the receiver metadata., while Jan_2011_BT.csv is a combination of the detections and tag metadata, i.e., it contains information on when a tagged animal was detected as well as different characteristics of the animal like length and sex. Together, these data (known as “detection data”) provide a comprehensive view on individual movement of bull trout in the reservoir during the one month study period.
