ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTS OF STATIN THERAPY ON INFLAMMATORY BIOMARKERS AND ENDOTHELIAL DYSFUNCTION INDICATORS

Statins, widely used as lipid-lowering agents, have demonstrated significant pleiotropic effects, including anti-inflammatory and endothelial-protective properties. This study aims to analyze the impact of statin therapy on inflammatory biomarkers and indicators of endothelial dysfunction. A comprehensive evaluation was conducted, focusing on biomarkers such as C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), as well as endothelial markers including nitric oxide (NO), endothelin-1 (ET-1), and flow-mediated dilation (FMD). The findings suggest that statin therapy significantly reduces systemic inflammation and improves endothelial function, highlighting its важный role in the prevention and management of cardiovascular and systemic diseases.
