喜马拉雅山中国一侧冰湖编目数据集（1970s-2010）

喜马拉雅山区是青藏高原冰湖集中分布区之一。根据中国冰川编目对流域划分的规范，在STRM和卫星遥感影像基础上，将喜马拉雅山脉中国一侧划分为39个流域。通过对20世纪70年代航片和58景Landsat TM/ETM图像进行解译，提取1970s、1990、2000、2010年四个时期的冰湖边界信息，并计算了冰湖的面积，得到喜马拉雅山中国一侧冰湖编目数据集（1970s-2010）。该数据集包括：（1）喜马拉雅山中国一侧39个流域边界数据；（2）1970s的1749个冰湖空间分布数据；（3）1990年1670个冰湖空间分布数据；（4）2000年1644个冰湖空间分布数据；（5）2010年1744个冰湖空间分布数据；（6）1970s-2010年冰湖变化统计数据。该数据集以存储.shp、.xls和.kmz格式存储，数据压缩为7.30MB。该数据集的分析研究成果发表在《自然资源学报》2015年30卷第2期。

The Himalayan region is one of the areas with concentrated distributions of glacial lakes on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. According to the watershed delineation standards stipulated in the China Glacier Inventory, the Chinese side of the Himalayas was divided into 39 watersheds based on SRTM and satellite remote sensing images. Through the interpretation of aerial photographs from the 1970s and 58 scenes of Landsat TM/ETM images, we extracted the boundary information of glacial lakes in four time periods (the 1970s, 1990, 2000 and 2010) and calculated their areas, thus compiling the Glacial Lake Inventory Dataset (1970s–2010) for the Chinese side of the Himalayas. This dataset includes: (1) boundary data of the 39 watersheds on the Chinese side of the Himalayas; (2) spatial distribution data of 1749 glacial lakes in the 1970s; (3) spatial distribution data of 1670 glacial lakes in 1990; (4) spatial distribution data of 1644 glacial lakes in 2000; (5) spatial distribution data of 1744 glacial lakes in 2010; (6) statistical data on glacial lake changes from the 1970s to 2010. This dataset is stored in .shp, .xls and .kmz formats, with a compressed size of 7.30 MB. The analytical research results of this dataset were published in *Journal of Natural Resources*, Volume 30, Issue 2, 2015.
