A dataset of the conodont genus Hindeodus

The Hindeodus conodont dataset was formed after collecting and organizing from the published literature from 1998 to 2020. We provide users with two datasets, Raw_Dataset and Augmented_Dataset. The dataset contains 12 species of Hindeodus, namely H. anterodentatus, H. bicuspidatus, H. changxingensis, H. eurypyge, H. inflatus, H. julfensis, H. latidentatus, H. parvus, H. postparvus, H. praeparvus, H. sosioensis, H. typicalis.Raw_Dataset is composed of raw data. After dividing Raw_Dataset into training set (80%) and validation set (20%), Augmented_Dataset was obtained by data augmentation on the training set.Raw_Dataset has 854 images with a size of 56.5 MB, and Augmented_Dataset has 7693 images with a size of 218 MB. the sample images are in JPG format with no fixed resolution.
