中国第36次南极科学考察（2019-2020年）长城站周边哺乳类种群数量和生态分布数据

开展长城站周边哺乳类动物长期业务化监测工作，是履行我国作为南极海洋生物资源养护委员会成员国所承担的责任与义务。基于野外长期监测数据，为制定有效的南极野生动物保护与管理措施积累基础资料和提供科学依据。中国第36次南极科学考察期间对长城站周边哺乳动物进行了观测，观测时间为2019年12月8日至2020年2月7日，数据内容包括经度，纬度，南象海豹、威德尔海豹、南极毛皮海狮等的种群数量。

Conducting long-term operational monitoring of mammals around the Great Wall Station serves to fulfill the responsibilities and obligations that China undertakes as a member of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources. Based on long-term field monitoring data, this work accumulates foundational data and provides scientific support for developing effective conservation and management measures for Antarctic wildlife. During the 36th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition, mammals in the vicinity of the Great Wall Station were surveyed, with the observation period lasting from December 8, 2019 to February 7, 2020. The dataset includes longitude, latitude, and population counts of species including southern elephant seals, Weddell seals, and Antarctic fur seals.
