Mullus barbatus MED_UNITs ddRAD sequencing raw reads

Raw sequence reads were obtained from 1373 Mullus barbatus specimens collected from 32 geographical sites across the Mediterranean Sea as part of the MED_UNITs project (https://data.europa.eu/doi/10.2926/909535). Genomic libraries were prepared following a typical ddRAD protocol using the SbfI-SphI enzyme pair. Libraries were PCR-amplified with 19 cycles and a gel cut-window of 400-700 bp was used. Five multiplexed libraries (288 specimens each) were finally sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 4000 platform (150 bp, paired-end) at the Norwegian Sequencing Center.
