Evergreen Agriculture Baseline Survey

Evergreen Agriculture combines agroforestry (trees on farm) with the principles of conservation Agriculture (minimum tillage, crop rotations/associations and maximum soil cover). It is emerging as an affordable and accessible science-based solution to caring better for the land and increasing smallholder food production.
<br/><br/> This project aims to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in eastern (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda) and southern Africa (Lesotho) while sustaining the natural resource base, through promotion of Evergreen Agriculture.
