This series comprises volumes of monthly reports of the Medical Board of the Bendigo Gold District Hospital (VA 1264) submitted to the hospital’s Committee of Management. These reports were considered by the Committee at their monthly meetings. The reports covered matters relative to the responsibilities of doctors and surgeons, including surgical and medical aid provided to patients, admission and discharge of patients and supervision of subordinate officers in the hospital. The submission of these reports to the Committee is noted in Minutes (Monthly), Committee of Management (VPRS 18861).
