This repository contains Python scripts developed for the application of Response Surface Methodology (RSM) in the optimization of ceramic membrane fabrication for water treatment. Two main computational approaches are provided: 1. RSM Modeling of Optimal Temperature : This script includes the full Python implementation used to simulate and determine the optimal sintering temperature. The optimization is based on an objective function (Z), constructed from experimentally derived parameters reported in the associated article for membranes prepared from raw clay. 2. RSM Modeling of Optimal Membrane : This script provides the Python code used to determine the optimal starch content in the ceramic membrane. All membranes with varying starch percentages were sintered at the previously optimized temperature. The optimization is carried out using a modified objective function (Z), calculated from adapted parameters corresponding to membrane composition. The provided scripts allow response surface modeling , and visualization of optimal conditions. These files support the reproducibility of the results presented in the associated research article and provide a computational framework for optimizing low-cost ceramic membranes for sustainable water treatment applications.
