Comparative genomic analysis using wild kiwifruit. Actinidia

Clarify the disease resistance trait of Psa 3 strain lineage of Kiwi fruit "Sanuki Kiwicco" derived from wild type cultivated in Kagawa University and Kagawa prefecture. We will develop a Psa 3 strain disease resistant DNA marker by using the results of disease resistance evaluation and genomic analysis using various crossing lines with already owned wild type. Based on Psa 3 line disease resistance assessment and quality evaluation technology of pre-registered variety, with a view to future overseas development, we aim to establish production system and original branding which ensures superiority of this region production area.
