To explore the association of NKAPL gene rs1635 polymorphism with cognitive function in patients with schizophrenia, we conducted the association analysis of cognitive performance of seven domains in 430 patients with schizophrenia (130 early-onset schizophrenia and 300 early adult-onset schizophrenia). The results showed that the A allele carriers of NKAPL gene rs1635 polymorphism performed worse than CC genotype carriers in the cognitive performance of information processing speed.
