AWARENESS OF URINARY TRACT INFECTION AMONG NON-MEDICAL STUDENTS

An infection within the urinary system is referred to as a urinary tract infection (UTI). The kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra are all parts of the urinary system. The lower urinary tract, including the bladder and urethra, is typically affected by infections. Women experience urinary tract infections more frequently. Most often, they affect the bladder or urethra, but more severe infections affect the kidney. Blood in the urine, pain when urinating, increased need to urinate, and pelvic pain can all be signs of a bladder infection. Fever, nausea, vomiting, and back discomfort can all be symptoms of a kidney infection. This study aims to awareness of urinary tract infection among non-medical students. Research was conducted b using google form and creating a questionnaire which are related to general knowledge, related to clinical signs and symptoms and related to awareness of UTI. It is found that most of the participants are not aware about the general signs ands symptoms about UTI.
