Shown on this map are the various city maintenance activities. Maintenance islands are located in cul-de-sacs and are maintained by Sandy Springs. The street sweeping layer is categorized by frequency of sweeping. Street sweeping occurs once or twice a month depending on the road. The mowing routes layer is categorized by primary or secondary. Primary routes are mowed once a month during the mowing season and secondary routes are mowed four times during the growing season. The growing season occurs from April 1st to October 31st. Winter response routes are categorized by priority level. This application has links to print static maps of street sweeping and ROW mowing.
