The data presented is data from gasification experiments using municipal solid waste pellet-based downdraft gasifier. there are two files, one file in the form of a spreadsheet whose contents are experimental data that has been processed. the second data is in the form of a powerpoint that contains a series of experimental images and graphs of processed data. the aim of this research are to reduce tar tar content with multi-stage air injection at pyrolysis, oxidation and reduction zone. Gasification performance indicator regarding low heating value (LHV), cold gas efficiency (CGE), gas production rate, and tar concentration.The air in the reduction zone activates the char layer to be more reactive in capturing tar components. Improved performance multi-stage air inlet compared with single stage gasifier can be used as reference optimization of operating conditions for the application of further gasification of both heating and power generation.
