CORRELATION BETWEEN SHOULDER POWER, GRIP STRENGTH, AND PERFORMANCE IN MALE RECREATIONAL BADMINTON PLAYERS

Badminton is one of the well renowned non-contact racket sports which is played by individuals of all ages at various levels. Studies conducted previously have assessed the differences in grip strength between right-handed and left-handed badminton players; similarly, research has assessed the shoulder strength of regularly trained badminton players and non-badminton players. However, studies correlating handgrip strength, shoulder power, and badminton performance could not be retrieved, hence the current study aimed at identifying the correlation between shoulder power, handgrip strength, and performance in badminton players.
