Occupational Profile and Prevalence of Common Mental Disorders Among Slum-Dwelling Workers in Salvador, Brazil (2023–2025)

Original dataset and script code from a cross-sectional observational epidemiological study conducted in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Data collection was carried out between November 2023 and March 2025. The dataset includes sociodemographic and socioeconomic variables, occupational profiles, and data on common mental disorders collected from 587 workers living in the slums of Salvador. The code contains data cleaning procedures, descriptive analyses, and Poisson regression models to estimate crude and adjusted prevalence ratios. All scripts were written in R and structured to ensure reproducibility of the results.
