Pursuing the Optimal Regional Analgesia Technique for Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA): A Prospective, Double-Blinded Randomized Controlled Trial of Femoral Triangle, Adductor Canal, and Dual Subsartorial Blocks (FAD Trial)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the findings of the randomized controlled trial titled "Femoral Triangle vs Adductor Canal vs Dual Subsartorial Block – Choosing the Best Motor-Sparing Block for Total Knee Arthroplasty: The FAD Trial". It contains anonymized patient-level data from 120 participants undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA), comparing three regional analgesia techniques: Femoral Triangle Block (FTB), Adductor Canal Block (ACB), and Dual Subsartorial Block (DSB). Variables include group allocation, demographic data, static and dynamic VAS pain scores at multiple time points, quadriceps strength, rescue opioid use (in morphine equivalents), satisfaction scores, block duration, and pain location mapping. Data were collected prospectively at Ganga Medical Centre, Coimbatore, India, under institutional ethical approval and registered under CTRI/2021/11/038194. This dataset is intended for peer-review verification, meta-analysis inclusion, or secondary analysis. A full data dictionary is provided in the README file.
