The Low Tablet is one of a dozen or more examples of carved sandstone tablets fashioned by Native Americans in the Middle Ohio River valley. Most were made about 2100-2400 years ago. While there exact functions are not known, stone tablets have been found in burial contexts within or below Adena Mounds. The original Low Tablet was found in 1943 near Parkersburg, WV by Edward Low, when he was 12. This to-scale reproduction was created by Ted Sunderhaus. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
