Gene expression profiling of colorectal cancer liver metastases from liver transplantation.

We have performed gene expression profiling by exon-resolution microarrays of liver metastases from patients treated by liver transplantation for unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer. This series consists of tumor tissue samples from the liver explants of 48 patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. All samples were analyzed on Affymetrix Human Transcriptome 2.0 Arrays. A subset of the samples (n=14) were excluded from analyses due to no/low tumor cell content.
